Default White Rover foams for LCC

Just got a set of Rover tires. The foams that come with the tires seem really soft and dont seem to fill the entire tire. Are these foams any good or are you guys swapping them out for something else? Temps are cooling down here and need to find a good setup for cold weather so memory foams are prob out.

The stock foams work excellent actually. With as light as the losi is they should get even better the more they break down:thumbsup:

The Stock Foams are A+, if you run a light rig they are sweet. I would say a

light rig is around the 5lb to 51/2lb. I run my losi a little over 5lbs, I purchased

the Novak Ark foams and they were way to stiff. They prob work good on a 6-

7bl rig. I took his foams and my proline dual stage and took his white foam and

wrapped it around the proline dual foam and made a hybrid of the two. They

seem to work great now.

Stock rims work well. Since they're only about 1" wide they will sidehill nicely. Which Vanquish rims are you wanting to run? If you go with the 1.3" wide SLW or DH you might consider putting a half slice of Losi grey foam on the outside of the stock foams to stiffen up the sidewalls so they don't roll under.
Keep n mind that the Losi works better with the least amount of weight possible. Maybe try 4 to 6 ounces up front and nothing or 1 ounce in the rear to start

I was thinking the SWL's .. not sure on width yet. Anyone wanna chime in on advantages of wide v.s. narrow rims with this truck?

I run the .7 SLW's and love them. I run a 600 front hub and 350 rear hub. Up front Im 10 1/4" wide and out back Im 9 3/4's running white rovers. Then again I'm running a lot lighter rig then most so Im still working on the setup as I believe this thing will rock light justneeds time being tuned. It would of been easier to run a 1" slw up front for stability but hoping to get my foams dialed in this week also for the narrow rims.

This is exact weight I run. about 6oz in front and 0oz in rear. It does

seem like the Losi MOA likes to be light. I also have the 1" SLW with

the 725 offset front and rear. Its a awesome setup...

i run narrowed panther F-400's they are a tad stiff but are maybe an 1/8th inch from filling out the tires so its perfect almost no lug folding, great side hill and they still conform some

i put the narrowed rover foam in my panther cougars and they got a little better too!

I was running the stock HB foams in my sedonas, little too soft for me, Ive switched to Boss Claws and the foaming is way different. My buddy I run with has what i think is perfect in his white rovers, Front: F400 panthers with a 1/4 cut out all around the center of the contact patch, keeping the side wall stiff. Rear, oversized Proline 2 stage. I like his setup, it sidehills nice, wraps decent and doesnt fold up and bind to bad.

I run f400's narrowed to about 1 3/4 with a V grove in the center. I tried nova's and they just didn't work as good for me so i am back to running the the f400's. My rig is at about 5.25 lbs. You can't go wrong for $15.
