I also grinded the one spot down...I wasn't happy with the way the servo mounts to it using the stock plastic servo mount...Doesn't seem like it will hold for long. I'll probably get the servo mount CKRC has on their site.

go from the under side. may need a longer screw (can't remember) and nut on top. I ended up getting the losi aluminum ones to make sure everything is tight. set it up with your servo before reattaching it to the axle.

and if you want your upper steering link to be level with the lower. use some traxxas spacers. the aluminum ones. i think the ckrc ones are the same as rcbros.

Here is one from the side..Honestly would be better to mod the bottom of the mount to accept a flat screw.

Sorry its RcBros that makes the mount. As mentioned on the website "In order for this mount to work you will need to file down the rear standoff to equal height of the front standoffs. This can be down quickly with a dremel or file. The one CKRC sells is our mount. Last edited by RcBro; 10-18-2009 at 11:53 AM. |

I realize it's the same mount that's where I got mine...I was talking about the alloy ears that mount the servo to your mount | |

I had a buddy machine a recessed groove for the servo mount screws so the screw heads are flush with the bottom of the plate. solved all of my rod end rubbing issues.

the spacer attached to the steering link is from traxxas. and use 1/4in locknut above to keep everything nice and tight. |
