End points are extremely cruticial. I normally set the travel on my dig so it just barely engages the dig, but still engages it evertime without any binding noises. I've also found personally that hitecs don't like the LCC

with the dx3 i noticed that you have to work the dig multiple ways to shut off the servo or it will sit and wind even will not being used

If the EPA's are not set correctly it wont matter if you put in the most expensive servo out there....it will fry also. I've been running Hitec 85MG mini units in two LCC's for well over 6 months with no issues. I also set up 2 team mates with the same unit and they too have been running for 6 months without issue. As everyone is saying, make sure the EPA's are set correctly. Cheers, Mike. |

Yup, X2 on what they've all said about end points, when I put the new one in my LCC after getting the DX3e I set teh endpoints so the servo barely moved then adjusted it so the servo stopped as soon as the dig assembly ran out of travel.

Crack open the manual...or get it offline...It explains everything...I set it up like the manual said and I haven't fried anything yet.. |

| There are a few build threads on RCC with some great crawlers using our mount. It truly is a great way to fix the linkage issues associated with the stock location.

I use the mount too, just put it in Saturday, no pics yet..... Fits great and makes it simple to mount the servo, now which servo since so many seem down on the Hitec (HS225 at the moment)? |
