Default Tire insert question.

OK, took the tires apart on my LCC and the foams are not half as nice as the ones on my scx-10(memory foams).

Now, should I run star cut with weights or just run bbs?

Get crawler innovations 5.0" 2 stage foams for the claws. AWESOME!
run 6-8 oz weight in each front tire and bout 4oz in back.

BB's and star cuts suck.

Options are:
1. New set of rims with weights. I don't really like this because the rims themselves are heavier.
2. Sticking weights onto the rim and buying smaller foams or trimming with an exacto knife.
3. Wrapping the middle of the rim with some lead rope and again trimming the foams.

I like #3 because it gets the weight as close to the center of the axle as possible to reduce rotating mass. I think Jake uses weights and he obviously knows something about setting up a rig.
