what upgraded parts should i buy?

i have a losi comp crawler with a ballistic 21.5 motor, mamba max pro esc, 3s 11.1 lipo 1350. I'm wanting to compete and i have been reading the Del Monte thread and was thinking about getting:

i was just wondering if there was anything in this list that just doesnt help with performance...or is there anything else i could add? just looking for recommendations from people with a little more experience.
thanks!

The rear hub carrier set would be the last on my list. I haven't seen the need to upgrade that part on my truck yet, the stock plastic ones work just fine. The front end, on the other hand, is a very worth upgrade, eliminates some flex and makes the steering even smoother than stock.

th rear hub carrier the stock is better because the plastic slides better on rock

so forget the rear hub carrier that will save me some change...thanks any others?

Why upgrade this? Would it last longer than stock?

downhiller6325 03-26-2010 06:41 PM

well there coated in tini which is supposted to make it turn smoother....
whats the difference between

Slipper Gear & Plate Set: CCR
and the no-slipper upgrade?

EeePee 03-26-2010 06:43 PM

Gee, I don't know, no slipper maybe?

also v3 cv shafts if you dont already have them, maybe tires if you dont have them? lots of test time

losi has been super customer support....and they had my cvds here in like 3 days....i have the hr somthings for tires....with about 8 or 9oz in the front with only about 2 or 3 in the rear....

dump the slipper and get that gear for sure
i also have the HR steering knuckles and Losi C-hubs,with all Ti pins
the alum. servo mounts are nice too but all the losi plastic is top notch really

Practice...... get to know the rig. A realtively stock LCC is probably better than many drivers are.

Pick up some grey and gold springs and some different pistions and shock oils. Then work on tuning the suspension. See what changes have an effect on certain parts of the rig.

the suspension was one of the first things i adjusted. im running floating # 56 pistons upside down to let the suspension to shoot up fast but drop down slow to help with floating over rocks....im also using 45 weight in front and rear i was using 50 in the front and changed to 45 to see how it runs.....im just waitng on some parts to get crawling again... i know that there are these people that have top everything and just cant drive the damn thing... i just want to get this thing running like a champ while i have the monies.

Ckrc aluminum dig plates...............my plastics were chewed up pretty bad and would skip quite a bit. The new losi aluminum dig shaft also made all the difference in the word........IMO
