Night crawler question

I just put a night crawler on layaway and i was wondering do the lights always run on this thing or can your turn them off somehow. Its probaly a simple question but the guys at hobby town had no idea.

You can unplug them from the rx.

Man i have yet to visit a hobby shop that knows jack about the losi, but ya you have to unplug it from the rx. You could always put a switch in it and make it real easy to do. I love the lights on mine but i do wish they would of come with a switch.:)

CrawlinFlorida 04-27-2010 08:54 PM

nope. no on/off switch stock, but as stated you could install one easily.

hell i took my lights off and slapped em on my axial honcho kit :flipoff:

but good choice going with a losi my friend, you will enjoy!

Thanks guys. I had a losi mini before this modded it and loved it but got tired of not being able to do certain obstacles so it was time for an upgrade.

I have a night crawler and unplugged from the rx my first comp with it was a indoor comp with low light and my buddys were like put your lights on ,so i did and at the last gate my battery dumped had to take a repair Would have scored the top 3 i was pissed so off came the lights sold them to a guy for a scaler

Yeah i figured they would drain the battery a lot. but ill leave them on for those nights i want to plug them in and have late night crawl session.

My idea was to solder in a on/off switch off a esc on it so i dont have to keep messing with the rx wire.

:ror:I unplugged mine and took them off, but I plan to wire up a switch so I can throw them back on if I ever need or want them.

my lights came off for my scaler. when I installed them onto my scaler I used a on/off switch that plugs into the rx and the the lights plug into the switch. simple and effective fix. the switch was super cheap at my LHS.
