Good luck getting the glue to stay on. Try it, won't hurt anything in the truck.

You can also double nut the slipper, when I got mine it slipped alot also. I got another nut to use as a jam nut and have not had a problem since then with the slipper.

You may try j.b. Weld to see if you can get it to hold. I've seen this done and it will work for a while till the slipper gear gets to you

just remove that existing srew/nut thing and replace it with a normal screw and tighten the sh!t out of it. works great on mine, works so good i just strip idler gear with the ballistick motor

Why don't you try something simple and removable.

Try adding servo tape between the plates.

Can someone tell me what the loud hi pitched noise is. I suspect this is why you guys are gluing the slipper or replacing it with a non slipper. Is this the source of the noise? Is there another thread dealing with tranny issues?

What about drilling through the the whole assembly and putting a couple of screws in it?

Just a thought.

hey guys, just got my non slipper gear, and i gotta say, what a difference, it has a much smoother powerband, and it is about 20 percent quieter, best 14 bucks i ever spent. btw i have a question, my front dig doesn't engage, no matter how hard i push it. but my rear dig engages easily

That would be some VERY small screws to work.I put my slipper pads next to my grinder and scuffed them a little, then JBwelded them and have had no problems.Might have to try the one piece gear, just to cut down on the noise

check to see if the nut on the dig linkage shaft is in too tight. If it is, it will bottom out on the transmission case before fully shifting into front dig
