| ? Who has the answer to thes questions ?
1. who makes wheel off sets? ( I just got some HB Rovers that are bigger than the stock wheels that all ready hit the springs when turning) 2. why would my MMP ESC cut all power when the steering gets jammed and can't go back to straight or neutral point? but when I was using a velineon vxl-3s I would not have this problem. (motor tekin 17.5 redline stock rotor waiting for the 14mm crawler) 3. why do my rear worm gears get very hot? up to 190 f. and the front only hit 86 f. I have done the shimming and grease port. and every time i take the rear apart there is alway new metal shavings. 4. how did you set up your mmp esc? and what motor are you using? and pinion? |

are you running a BEC? if not thats your reason for the cutting out when turning, and id use a 12-14t pinion with a 17.5t motor |

No i am not running a bec, I am just running 6v off the ESC. Is it hard to wire in a bec? the steering servo I'm running is a Hitec HS-7954SH it can run on 6v - 7.4v I am using a 14 tooth pinion right know. I all some do grease them every few runs. I put the screw in the worm gear case and I have a syringe to fill them. |

1-dont know 2-you need an external bec, its not hard, make sure you cut the red wire going to the MMP 3-drill the hole and grease with lithium grease or green slime 4-follow the manual (if you dont have it you can get in on castles website), also get a castle link. I run a tekin 21.5 with a 14mm rotor and a 14t pinion, im going to try a 15t |

1. Vanquish Products 2. You need a BEC 3. Sounds like your rear gear that was cut improperly. 4. Get the castle link it makes programming alot simpler. |

the larger rotor should make more torque therefore cog less

Just a thought, but doesn't the mamba pro have an adjustable internal bec similar to the external one the sell? I would turn it up as far as your servo allows and see if it still cuts out.
