High clearence links on losi??

Well today i was tinkering with my losi and i was thinking how could i give my losi more clearance and as i looked around i had some old striat links from my axial and i thought i should bend them to see if it would work so i took the chance and this is what i came up with. i did move my uppers to clear and it doesnt bind on my driveshaft. so tell me what u think. {edit]sorry but ill post pics tomarow i cant get pics to load thanks and its currently 12:30 lol.

I am curious on how well they work...I like the idea, and most of us running the LCC could always use a little extra clearence !!

what r you running for the link ends to let them move when they hit the drive shaft on a good flex?

i used traxxas rodends on the axle and stock on the chassis. it puts the wheel base at around 12.4 around there.
