Default slipper eliminator gear ???

ok i have given in and installed the slipper eliminator gear and i noticed that it seats deeper than the slipper gear and only contacts half of the spur gear now has anyone else had this problem i am thinking of pullin it out and reinstalling the slipper with a spacer to get the slipper tighter any help is appreciated thanks in advance

Mine installed perfectly and lined up with the spur/idler the same as before. I would have to look again, but sounds like you are missing a spacer or something.

if i leave one of the slipper plates it has the same effect in reverse it dosent seat deep enough

you'll want to re-install the spacer that is outside the slipper gear. I used a 3/8" AL screw to hold my spacer on.

I am getting read to do the same thing....Does anyone have pictures of what we are talking about?? I would think this might be a pretty good sticky thread if you could show pics of installing all the gear upgrades and how they go together.

i have done that and when the nut bottoms out the gear is misaligned the gear itself goes too far and only half the gear makes contact with the spur i already have issues with ripping the teeth off the spur with the new power system is there something that needs to go behind the eliminator gear to shim it back out?

ok i am a idiot i guess cuz i took it apart and noticed on the center hub of the gear there are some dimples on one side i put them facing out and assembled it tightening until the gears matched assembled and drove it and theres no problems now kinda hard to admit it but i am a idiot
