Default Is there a mods thread for LNC?

just got my first crawler yesterday. Got the LNC after reading here and seems to be the right choice for me to just play with. Is there a catch all thread of mods for the LNC like there is for the LCC? I know I want to move the battery, get a stronger servo, check inside the axles n such, looking for a more.

Not really. I'd say 95% of the hop ups for the LCC work on the LNC... the only exceptions are the tranny hop ups that I know of. The Losi lightweight shafts and other tranny parts wont fit the LNC. As far as mods go, gaining some wheel speed and HP will benefit the LNC big time.

Or compile the list and start your own thread.

Ok, how about a thread for battery relocation. I want to get rid of the top heavy spot. I see guys talking about using the LCC battery tray or just making something out of lexan. Any links?

TRIAL AND ERROR MY FRIEND! THATS ALL THIS GAME IS, THE STUFF THATS ALREADY MADE/DESIGNED IS FOR SOME WHO PERFER TO BUY MODS. THEN THERES THE ABILITY OF IMAGINATION UP YOUR NOGGIN, AFTER THAT HAPPENS, LOG IN AND POST OF PICS TO SHARE, WE ALL LIKE PICS!
DONT GET CONFUSED BETWEEN THE LCC AND LNC K, THEIR IDENTICAL, MINUS ALUMINUM PARTS...LINKS, STEERING, CROSS MEMBERS, SHOCKS. THEN THE TRANSMISSIONS ARE DIFFERENT, OTHER THAN THAT, OUT OF THE BOX THEIR THE SAME RIG!
FROM THERE THE MOD, AND ELECTRICS WILL SEPERATE THE TWO.
GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN DUDE!

Mike...congrats on the LNC! I just got mine for Christmas and have started the same process too. I just finished the LCC battery conversion this weekend, updated pics to come on my thread later tonight (Kyle's LN/CC). When I did it I just compared the exploded parts diagrams of the LNC and LCC from Losi's site. There are a few bolts that are reused from the LNC, specifically for the chassis braces and the LED mount/battery mount but other than that I've listed the exact parts needed below:

LOSA1103 - Shock Tower Arm & Spacer (2 packages needed)
LOSA4033 - Shock Brace Rods
LOSA4034 - Chassis Brace Rods
LOSA4032 - Battery and Receiver Platforms and Hardware
LOSA6283 - 4-40 x 5/8" Flat Head Screw (2 packages needed)
LOSA6308 - 4-40 Steel Locking 1/2 Nut

Hope this helps
