Default lnc drive shaft issues

is anyone else having trouble with the pin coming loose from the driveshaft at the axle? i'm able to press it back through but a few minutes later its pulling through again. i only have about 2 hours run time on this, are the lcc drive shafts an upgrade or will i have trouble with these shafts forever.

im not sure, but i switched to a integy drive shaft after my lnc kept binding up and the shafts were slipping out of the cups at the tranny.

i've been putting a tiny bit of blue loctite on the setscrew of those since i got it, haven't had an issue either. never dropped a pin doing that. all else fails, i think some are putting heat shrink around the outside of the axle side cup.

ght beat me to it, lol

A little blue loctite, I also used some heat shrink as a safety precaution. Since doing that I've had no trouble.

i ran my lcc with lnc driveshafts in a comp yesterday with no problems with pins. the only problems i had was driver error and driver inexperience (first comp and first time realy driving the lcc)

Do yourself a favor and get a set of Eriks Chromolly Pins, Long or Standard length ones are both great just make sure you use thread locker on all your grub screws as this is obviously your main problem, your stock pins will fail!!!! but Eriks pins are super strong and will not let you down! well worth it and cheap too!

Default lnc parts

well its looking like i need to spend some money on erik soon. cause i have pins and shafts and hexes all failing. so its time for a hd upgrade. this will give a chance to pick up another crawler while this one is waiting on parts. im gonna want a lcc moa minus elec. soon.
and yes all my failure was due to crawlin with lose screws and that caused enough wear. upgrades to come, losi brushless 17.5, and many aluminum upgrades...

I'm still running factory driveshafts on my LCC and LNC, I am surprised your INtegey shafts have held up at all, the HTU I work at put one their driveshafts on a Wheely King for a customer and they blew apart in less than 5 minutes!

I havent had any problems with my stock lnc shafts and I havent done anything to them. Im actually surprised at the durability of the whole rig. Ive bashed the crap out of it and havent broken anything. yet..... knock on wood.
