| OTA Problems
Installing some upgrades into my Nightcrawler and I picked up this OTA steering kit http://www.ckrccrawlers.com/ckrc-ota...er-p-2442.html . Problem I am having is it seams to rub on the fake nuts on the inside of the Tire Beadlock. Anyone else seen this problem. Below is a picture of what I am talking about. Looking for Ideas of what I might have done wrong or what I can do to fix this. Thanks for the help.

sure others that are more knowledgeable will chime in, but i would say either get more offset hubs or grind off the fake plastic nuts.

Your going to hate me for saying this but the ckrc ota is junk.. Sorry.. I had one and it was ok for a few days then I noticed the axle housing spreading open when I turned and ended up costing me a housing.. Also the long screws holding it to the knuckles kept bending and often breaking.. Not to mention it looked crap when it rusted.. As already said grind down the plastic nuts.. Or new wheels? But personally I would ditch the ota and go grab a lcc link and buy some clocked C's to lift the link Cheers Dan |

I had the one for my AX10. It didn't work out of the box, but after a few tweaks I got it sorted out. Wes |

Actually I modified it. I switched the hubs back around and rebent the Steering link. Worked great now.
