Default CVD axle shaft options on V3 CVD

Does anyone know if the axle shaft of another vehicle will work with the losi V3 CVD? I am working on a special project and will be shortening the axle shaft anyway. I guess what I am asking is, is there a universal ball size that will allow other axle stubs to work? Thanks.

Actually let me qualify this. I am thinking of a 10th scale vehicle that would work as an alternative. I know the mrc axle shafts will work with these cup ends but those are to small for my project.

I have a whole bunch of different CVD parts from various cars... let me dig through them and see if I can find anything.

MRC ends will work with LCC stubs but thats all I know of off hand. What exactly are you looking to accomplish?
