Question Problems with the shocks

Hey

Was just wondering if someone could shed some light to a problme i have been having with all my losi rigs.
i refill the shocks with new oil and run the rig once and the shockarms and everything below are covered with shock oil, and the shocks are empty.

i have tightened them up desentley (as hard as i dare to) but they leak like hell.

any tips on how to get around this? got the same on my buggy to and on my micro buggy. i have tryed greesing the o-rings but that didn't help much, am i doing something wrong,

amy ideas?

Thanks

for leaking shocks, also check out trinity double seal o-rings (model number: TRITEP3010). after installing these, my shocks leak even less than they did with mip blue seals.

when assembling the shocks, take great care with any o-ring. if you were to tear an o-ring during assembly, you would be back in the same position as before. i am very methodical when it comes to building shocks, i always use some sort of lubricant on the shock shaft when inserting it.

Both my LCC had leaking shocks straight from the box.I called Horizon today and they are sending me rebuild kit for all eight shocks and shock fluid for free...

Losi green grease on the o rings sealed mine up, still expect a small amount to get pressed tho.

I knew it wasn't going to work out the moment I opened the box and saw shock oil saturating the cardboard packaging at all four corners. I immediately threw on some big bores and never even messed with the losis. Seeping is a known problem with that design. My 1/8th scale losi shocks have been flawless.
