Losi CC Race Roller on the bench...

So as I love my Night Crawler but wanted the Dig and shock horns from a CC so....... I did the only logical thing. I bought a Race Roller CC. I payed $160 (new in the box) from a local shop. Score!

Now the plan was to use the parts (dig, etc..) but now I am just going to build it up as my Comp Rig and keep the trusty Night Crawler as my Sportsman Rig (not that we have that class up here..).

I am putting my Sidewinder (3S capabile one) in along with a new Novak Rock Star motor. I still need a Dig Servo and some better tires but everything else I have I the shed.

Hope to have it up and running soon. I can't wait!

First screw up. Bought a dig servo. Got it home and it is a Micro not Mini servo. Will go back on the weekend. I need some wire and Deans plugs anyway.

Do they ever come together trouble free? I'm test fitting some electrics tonight and tweeking a few things. All good....

you might look up the specs on the micro servo you bought. it could work. one of the things i'm looking at is switching to a micro servo and making a mount that puts the dig servo lower and more toward the front of the rig. helping center of gravity and weight distribution as much as i can!!

+1 for trying to use it. Not sure how much .oz torque that requires but it can't be much. It's more about mounting it somewhere... obviously.

I have a few evening free before I can get to the LHS so I might just try making something. I like the idea of the smaller servo. Every bit helps....
