I've been considering 4s

Just imagine the axle carnage

To losikid you are insane... But it would be pretty interesting to watch I'm not gonna lie
To Aaron 10 batteries that's slightly overkill haha

OVERKILLRC got its name for a reason...i also have like 15 batteries, possibly more (gens ace and hh though) for my losi, each pac only last 7-10 minutes

I've got the axle situation figured out, i've been working on something, but i don't want to buy new batteries, sacrifice my cog, and risk destroying my rs because of the 4s...

Smart man. But why are you using the pro? Did you just have it laying around?

I have an rs in a box but sure if I want to put it in my lcc or in my mod t4. The t4 has been hanging on the wall wanting to be driven for a few months....

check out corky's videos in the video section ARCC comps. he runs his losi on 4s. works really well! HD spool and worm in front, dlux chromo in rear. i just swapped my motor out yesterday from an 18.5t novak ballistic crawler to a 13.5t. it makes a huge difference. on the 18.5t i was running a 14t pinion, on the 13.5 i dropped to a 12t pinion. the speed of the 13.5 is quite a bit more.

i run the sky lipo batteries, mine are 800mah 3s 40c's and they last around 10 minutes. i can tell the 13.5t will drain the battery quicker so i gotta do some testing and see how long they will last now!

watch your pack temps, if i stall my 13.5 too many times my packs will ballon, they are always warm at the end of a run. I get like 6-7 minutes on my 1000s's and 10-12 minutes on my 1300's

i'll keep an eye on them thanks. i've only ran 2 packs thru it so far (raining now), and i got between 8 to 10 minutes out of each pack. this was just normal backyard driving, LOTS of full throttle running, and some mild crawling. will have to head up to the waterfall and put it thru some comp style crawling with quite a few binds to check how everything reacts to the new motor.
