lnc start

Well here is my Losi night crawler. I have a Novak goat 2s with an 18.5t sensored motor. Flipped and centered trans. Blue dot rovers with crawler innovations medium foams and white dot rovers with stock foams in front. Bent lower links.

Very nice start there, I would recommend the white dot rovers over the blue dot as the white dot are softer... but looks good.

Re: lnc start

I went with the blue dots because they are a little firmer just for the back though

Looking good. How is the brushless motor working for you? I have been using brushed now for over a year. I might try brushless this year in a LNC based Sportsman rig I will be building. (So many projects....)

Re: lnc start

I have had this motor/ESC for a while and I like the brush less setups. I haven't fully tested it yet. Just in my back yard course and it did great. Its still slow as a snail but its got some torque. And I need to get a 12t pinion for it as per the tips and tricks section

Re: lnc start

Cool! I run an old Sidewinder, 35t Tekin brushed motor on 3s Lippo. It has some good "pop" to it and a lot of wheel speed. I have heard good things about brushless motors on Losi rigs. I am the only Losi Comping at our club and I realy on sites like this for input so thanks for posting up dude. You have me thinking. That is never a good thing....

Lol no problem man. I am gonna run with Frankenstein rigs, axial, venoms and anyone else who wants to join in the fun. But most of the ones I run with I have setup for friends or given them tips.

I am only running 2s lipos so as not to hurt my Novak junk. I wanna different setup but I got it in a trade and it was sitting around so it got put in

Re: lnc start

I got them installed but I need to play with my upper link setup a bit.

Re: lnc start

Well Novak has yet another great design point where their received connector lead attaches to the ESC is just little pins that are very easy to break. Yes I broke one so now I'm looking at a tekin rs ESC.
