Default Phoenix revival

Overkillrc is considering letting the phoenix rise from the ashes again...if your interested post up here.

It'll be a delrin chassis, topper is optional, lightend skid, aluminum hardware...may also come bundled with a front axle tray that possibly has a front shark fin.

Here's a vid of the final prototype sporty i built. Used current chassis geom and was a delrin chassis.

and for some more info

I doubt we'll offer links. But we may offer a template or give another vendor templates for them to make links.

the thing about links to me is:

no matter what anyone includes with a chassis, they'll always be wrong in some aspect. delrin is too heavy now, ti is too expensive, aluminum grinds too much...pretty much anyway you go, some or all of the links are likely not to meet the requests of the customer. then there's the whole forward bias thing....the list goes on. the choice we made not to include links on the phoenix was for the builder to make what suits them, not what gets forced on them.

Any major comp history on this chassis in the new 2.2S class? Did anyone run one at 2012 Nationals or a recent USRCCA Championship Series event?
