I really like that! How much closer did it move the tranny and motor together?

Looks great. If it all works out im sure you will make Tomi and Douwe happy and their Losi customers so that they should be able to offer the Losi SuDu1

Thanks OB

That's the plan, the chassis feels like a performer, everything seems to be right. Now we just need to make sure it works as good as it feels.

The truck is finally ready to run I did some mild indoor testing for a couple of packs and the front end is working well

RTR @ 1439g or 3.17lbs

Good grief!!! 3.17 pounds that's nuts!!! I'm guessing that's with no knuckle weight. You need a pair of Bovers on front of that thing!

Thanks OB, yeah that's light but I used allmost every tricks I knew to get it that low so it'll most likely not go a lot lighter. I can loose a little bit more weights with some Ti rear shafts and lighter driveshafts but I'll not work on it untill this summer.

Custom links, every links on this rig are custom.

Yeah the knuckle have about 20* of caster, one good thing about the new tube design is that you can loosen a few screw and set your caster, kinda like the dlux caster ring but for xr ends.

No sorry no chance to get vids untill august. Tomorow I'm leaving for Congo to work and see my familly. I'm leaving in a small mining town, tons of rocks, nice weather and dry season but internet speed there is crappy, and that's when we have electricity I will upload pictures though

Scalers, the trucks you build when you can't run a decent line

I bashed the truck hard on my small backyard rockpile 2hrs and everything help up

This truck is really fun to drive, really lacking wheelspeed for rollover and save but that can be fixed with better driving. Other issue I'm having is a lot of rear axle push. I changed my foams and it feels better but still not perfect. Otherwise climbing is very good and after a few small tweaks It felt even better.

So far I'm really digging this truck, LOSI!

I will try to get a few pictures for you guys

You might try some pins in the rear, so it gives you more slip when you need it.
