Default LNC reverse speed

Ok so I picked up a used LNC. Something is up with it. It has the losi ecm, stock motor with a 20 tooth pinion and a am radio setup. It goes fine forward but barely moves in reverse and has absolutly no torque in reverse. If I turn the wheels all the way one direction in will stop it dead in its tracks. I tried reversing the motor leads and it runs fine that way so I think the motor is fine.
ECM junk ? Anyone ever run into this before ? I have been out of r/c for awhile now so I have never seen a good running stock lnc to compare mine too. Any info is appreciated. Its a cool crawler, I think I bought someone elses problems. It looks absolutly brand new.

Does that old am radio have EPA controls (end point adjustment)?

Otherwise you could try re-calibrating the esc to the radio

Its a losi am radio with team associated receiver with no epa adjustments. I tried recalibrating the radio hoping that would fix it but it didnt work.

I just was going to try and re-calibrating the ecm to radio again. So I turned the radio and truck on and then held the ecm programming button down until the light changed. Then went to hit the throttle to start calibration and instead of calibrating the throttle worked. Weird so I moved the trigger to reverse and now I have full reverse speed. So I must of done something wrong when calibrating. Either way it is working good now. I gotta get a manual for this thing so I know what Iam doing lol. Thanks for the help.
