Default Body size....

I have ditched the stock body on my Night Crawler. Now I want something else, just to cover the TVP chassis... Will the 1/24 Losi Micro Trail body is the right size. I have trouble finding real body sizes!

The 1/24 is way too small.
Pretty much any 1/10 scale body will fit, but if you're more competitive the rules now also allow the use of for example the Losi 1/18 crawler body.

I don't do comp. Since they are none here...

But I need a small body, just to cover the small area over the TVP chassis...
I've checked the body of a Latrax Teton at the LHS which will fit, but still too big...

i'm using a savage xs lid now. its comp legal, so may not fit your needs.

if you find a body you like the shape of, my thoughts are just to cut it down till it doesn't rub. the body takes more impact than one would think. i had a day where i was practicing in the shed, one fall was all lid. not damage to the truck. the next one, one of the links took a hit and ripped the part i was testing out of the plastic (also when i started using inserts). best case scenario for me is always letting the lid take the hit, its usually one of the cheaper parts that you can kill.

Yeah.. that's why I want to run with a body... now I have nothing and the battery is on top the tranny and pretty exposed...
I will keep searching.. I'm not in a hurry since it's winter.

If you have any idea, keep them coming!
