comp: yes. chassis is a custom job by alexg that took some height out of the original phoenix. raise link packages on each end (rear stock phoenix, 1in rise over stock, front hand made by me deal that i'll get into a more polished version one of these days) losi scb shocks, trinity x-ring seals, rpm 2 stage pistons, 25wt oil (i think) on all 4 corners. full fmj throughout the truck in all losi plastics and some delrin parts. ti lowers, 6061 aluminum uppers, all powdercoated by my local sponsor clapped out mmp that i've removed and resoldered a ton of stuff on to save some weight backing up a tekin 17.5t that really needs a bearing change. hs-225mg dig, 7950 steering (direct battery bypass ccbec powered at 7.4v). both have aluminum arms and a home brew but very effective dig servo linkage fix. steering parts are 1/8 steel rod. xr-mod front axle. vanquish wraith parts, rcbros arms, d-lux no slops, way too much loctite involved on the kingpin bolts. lightweight trans internals, dig spring fixes, lightened all the plastic gears with a drill. stampede driveshafts (butter smooth cheap goodness) 21:1 fronts, 25:1 rears, worms are riding in hpi bronze bushings. fast eddy bearings on everything that takes them. TAG carbon wheels with panther leopards and ci foams. 600 vp hubs in the front, 225 flipped in the rear. as much aluminum hardware as i can get away with. about 3lbs 13-14oz rtr depending on the battery. bushings: front axle: dig servo linkage fix: upskirt: and just looking good in the driveway: |
