| 4 wheel steer
I just ordered the 4ws for my night crawler. Why does so few people run this? looks like it opens a entire new world of opportunities |

Secondly because it adds a lot of rear axle weight which hurts climbs, which are critical to comping. I've put rear steer on my recreational crawler, and it is very awesome. Combined with the comp crawler DIG, impossible lines are very doable now. Less bashing, more crawling. Totally my style. Way fun.

nice - that's what I wanted to here. This is my camping crawler - no comps around here. - hence the "night" crawler I want to give it the ability to go anywhere/ climb anything. - just for shear fun. |

The exact same as your front axle. Losi makes a rear steer kit.

I imagine you can use a front axle from a lost night crawler?

You just need to order the *LOSB2046 Rear Steering Kit: NCR, CCR I installed it on mine, it's a fun mod but it has it's limitations. You either have to get a reversed servo or open one up and reverse it internally. I didn't want to run a reverser cable so I opened up the servo and reversed it. You'll need a splitter for the servo connection also. At time's I want to remove it, other times it works awesome. |

I forgot to mention depending on your setup you'll have to relocate the esc to another location on the rig.

| Re: LNC 4 wheel steer
I just purchased the Losi rear steer kit for my LNC 2.0. I now have the kit and the servo, but not finding any instructions anywhere. Anyone know if there is a video or anything written as far as instructions? I am pretty new to all this and although I can look at the front end and figure it out, I wanted to find some info before I started if there is any available. Thanks .... |

http://www.horizonhobby.com/pdf/LOSB0104_Manual.pdf Or you can use the LCC manual: http://www.losi.com/ProdInfo/Files/C...wlerManual.pdf Or take apart the front while taking a bunch of pictures, put it back together, flip it around and do it again for the rear. If you take your time, you'll be fine...it's really a pretty simple operation.

OK, Probably easy enough to just look at the front setup, I get it ..... but looking at Tibs post above, there is a need to reverse the servo, didnt know about that part. In addition, I have seen videos where the rear steer is switchable to crab walk or tight circle. How is that accomplished?

Your remote. You won't need to reverse the servo if your remote has a mix for 4ws. If your running stock remote, then you'll have to reverse the servo.

I rear steered, my NC, along with an LCC dig trans. Controlled it with a Flysky. I never comped, but it was a fun novelty. Kind of impractical for real crawling though. As that's a lot of things to control all at once.

I'm looking at doing this to a Comp Crawler I just picked up. Could you post some pictures of where you mounted the esc? thanks |
