They come as a set - you actually get two in the package. One for each axle. We generally only use one in the front to spin them faster giving a sort of dig effect/better turning.

I've found this grease very similar to Mobil XHP222 . I have ran this grease in all the rigs thruoghout the years - AX, Losi, Berg, Bully2

Nasty shet .... Funny story first and recommendation. CUT THE TOP BEFORE SQUEEZING! I took the cap off and squeezed for an instant memory. The bottom sides blow out spewing grease everywhere.

So after remembering that .... I would have to say very close to the Mobil stuff like Heido said, maybe a little thicker. Remember trying some of this stuff before with all the heat/grease talks.

Ok so everything is hinging on how my skid idea turns out ....... think im on the right path so far.

In between some orders and inventory runs I managed to get a skid cut and pocket milled. Its actually smooooth to the feel even seeing the tool marks. Flat tip 2 flute end mill with a .02 step over ... cosmetically I think a .05 step over will get rid of the lines better but good for mine and trials.

And some CF (of course) but for what?

The idea is to pinch the lower link pins inplace and not have to use the Losi pieces or change the triangulation from Losi.

And how do we hold the tranny in place? With some delrin mounts of course.

And mocked together ........

And well thats it for now ........ next stage is getting the other ideas out of my head and into this. But that has to wait for after Krazed parts.

Got a little work done on the fun box and some stuff done to the Losi ......

Little shot showing the lower links inplace

And some of the chassis setup ..... Ill be honest I dont liek the front shock angle so thats gonna be worked on before I commit to any CF material. The rear shocks are on a similar Losi style adjustment. Two screws hold each arm and allow you to rotate them up or down about .125 to alter belly and shock angles.

Thats about it for now but I do have my front axle plate made and was wondering about interest in it. I can say it probably wont fit well between a stock axle but works with the Youngblood or Teng mod.

If theres enough interest I could see us bringing these to production ..... whats everyones opinion?

Ok, so I let me crawl out of my hole and ask a couple questions, as I am not in the now on losi goodies

Do the worm drive trucks handle an over driven front as awell as a R&P truck does?

I seem to see people welding shafts together more often these days. Does it seem to hold? I am a fabricator for a living now, and can tig some shafts together.

Why did you chose clod inners? Cool factor?

Will you cut me those trans parts?

I recently got an itch to fart around with a losi, and was thinking of offering XR conversion junk. But Im not sure how popular they would be, or if anyone even does losi stuff these days

I drove my old LCC for a long time with the HD gears in the front. I cant say I ever felt it wasn't enough but that was also in a pro class with digs. Never felt any bind or like one axle was dragging or pushing another.

I chose the clod pieces for two reasons. I felt that if I can get all that steering into the truck then it would help the axles telescope a little and take some stress off the joints.

Also using the splines I had more of a hold on the axles in the locker and less of a chance of rounding off the stock square ends over time. Who knows though I could wind up spinning an insert with the luck I have at times.

Also it was easier for me to drill the clod stub out and slide the Xr axle in then to try and butt the two pieces together to weld them.

PM me on the tranny parts .....

Ok so not much of a build thread compared to some of my past ones, just dont seem to have the minutes left in a day to update everything. My fault but I do have a runner.

So after some talks with Jens on the front axle plate I made some changes to it. Noticing I couldnt get all my steering and the battery was stuffed in the wheel I brought the servo and battery in a bit more.

So we went from this .... notice the top screws and servo location ....

To this and counter sunk screws

There is a v3 coming though that moves the servo back and over to center a bit more plus the battery over as well. This should clear me up for max throw.

So heres my infamous paint job that brought me luck with my old pro rig .... and some shots of the under carriage.

My rendition of BTA for the Losi

And the rear side

Plus a shot of our 1100's weight hangers giving us over 70grams per side available.

C-Class with Purpmart Voodoos and Crawler Innovation foams

And here she is tipping the scale RTR with a 4S on her ....... This thing needs a diet still

More to come later on ...... got some skinny things coming in for a change. Got a couple packs of practice and was pretty impressed with its first outing. Some more test n tune for her and Im sure shes gonna be a front runner with a real driver behind her .
