Default 1.0 vs 2.0 difference and value?

I've been looking at some used LNC, both the original version and the 2.0. Is the original version in its stock form still a good crawler? I assume the worm gears would need to be replaced. What would be a reasonable asking price for the original version and the 2.0? A 2.0 just sold locally here for $225, that seemed a little high priced.

The difference of the worm gears are; HD Worm Gears which are 21 tooth vs the originals at 25 tooth. The LNC2.0 comes with the HD version. If your looking at picking up a used one, it'll depend on what your planning to do long term. If your going to only use it stock and can get a 2.0 cheap, get the 2.0. If you plan to mod it alot, get the original cheaper.
