|  HD worm gears
Im looking for a source for a set of gears so I can OD the front on my NC . Anyone have a source? Trying to get it to turn better. |

Thx for the reply Tib. So, I guess what i need is the Comp crawler gear set so I can slow the rear axle down, that is 25-1 ratio. I thot I was speeding up the front by finding the 21-1 ratio. Any source for those?

I’m pretty sure it came stock with the HD worms 21 ratio I know my 2.0 did . It’s the 25 that are impossible to find

I counted the revolutions and found mine are 25-1. 21-1 arrived yesterday. Now I have to take  it apart n GETTERDONE.

To overdrive the front, do I need 25-1 or 21-1? Which gears are the strongest?

21:1 for the front overdrive. They are the only HD sets you can get readily available. The 25:1 you can get (they are getting harder to find and usually are not HD)
