new memphis crawling spot...JACKPOT!!!!

Steve Street told me about this the other day, and I had to go check it out. It's located in the Wynridge Apartments which is about a 1 minute drive from the Nitro Chop Shop. Steve was told by the manager that she didn't care if we crawled on the rocks.

area:
10 or so areas (like the one shown, and yes only 1 area is shown) spanned over about 100 yards. All are big enough for 2.2's, 1.9's, and a few would be good for supers. 4-5 of them are big enough to have 10 gates.
terrain: pretty grippy, alot like the rocks at Arkabutla lake.
munchies/restrooms: a gas station across the street from the complex

sounds good. I can meet you over there sometime.

We went over there on saturday and there were a couple kids that wanted to drive and all that. This spot may not be the best area for a comp. :-(

This spot will be good for practice during the week, while the little ones are in school. We might as well can it for the summer, unless you don't mind being followed by little kids.

I'd like to get over there around lunch time one day this week for some more practice. Whose with me? Brian, you know you want to.

We also were quickly met by the security guard. His name was Neil, and he drives a blue dodge ram 4 door with tinted windows. He's a nice man, and he even showed some interest in the hobby. Say hello if you see him.

Well as of today you have to have an access code to get in past a new gate that they put up. I tried but the secuirty gaurds weren't having it. Losing a spot like this is a huge bummer especially with it being so close to the LHS.
