I saw a post on here that this was an amazing free place to crawl. Well the weather was amazing today so i figured, why not. For any of you knox guys whos been to northlake, this is probably two to three times the size with much more terrain variances. I was highly impressed and will definatly be back next sun. To bad it was just myself and another crawler today. Everyone else missed out! |

The place is fun to crawl around on alot of rocks... I was not there this weekend me and the wife had are 10yr anniversary. We get there around 12:00. There is lots of shade and tables and bathrooms. Here are some pic of what it looks like. Panther creek park is in morristown east of knoxville. http://www.pbase.com/spiked3/june_21_09 For a map do google map panther creek park tn. When you turn in to the park follow the road to the 2nd right the rocks are near the back on the right. I will be there sunday |

I plan on being there around 11:30 sunday, as long as its not wet. William and I met up there this evening and I had on some new tires and made it over all the places I was having trouble with before. So I finally feel like I can call my truck a 'comp rig'. I still dont think it would do well at a formal comp around here, but at least I could make a gate with it without breaking i think. I plan on leaving it alone for a while and just practicing with it. Quite a few of the guys are more into the scale side of things, but there is so much variety there that there is something for everyone. Hope you make it. Mike |

I am off work this Sunday. Is anyone heading out to Panther Creek? If so I am thinking about riding down and crawl a bit.

This weekend they are calling for rain sunday, so we are shooting for 1:00pm or so on saturday (7/24) instead. If it does not rain sunday, I probably will be back then as well.

I had a chance to check out this spot this past Sunday. Prolly the biggest spot of rocks I have visited. The crawl spot is under trees in the shade and has restrooms as well as tables. This would be a good place for a E.T.R.C. comp or get-together. Next time I go I will get some pics.

Post some pics so the ETRC guys can see what it's all about. We need another comp spot and this looks promising from the limited pics I have seen. PS: I noticed ur not signed up for the crawler cup. You should come down and comp you have been driving good lately. | |

Didn't they have a cut off for the entry fees? I think they were due this past week sometime. Anyway I just got my rig back together after stripping more tranny gears at northshore. I will be going back to Panther Creek soon, I will post up some pics when I do for you all to check out. Maybe some of you all would be interested in driving up for another laid back comp or a gtg soon.
