Oh yea got my transmission done finally except gear lube, that can wait. Now I just need some Wraith universal and figure out why in the heck my 4pl won't bind to the receiver and I"ll be set to run some trails and bounty climbs with y'all in a couple more weeks!!! Im really looking forward to this event!! Thanks Country!

I love this idea. I posted a video in the video section of one of the runs from Gorilla run @ superlift orv stating that this ought to be a new style comp for RC buggies. Man I have gotten alot of negativity and got ridiculed by people in general saying that it will never take off in the RC world, to much carnage. I think i only had 3 people agree with me on it. The reason I am loving this thread is because its taking the same idea as the 1:1 southern buggies and applying it to or RC buggies. Why do alot of people on RCcrawler have no vision on where to take this sport? Most everyone complains that even national comps only draw 10 to 12 people. This bounty run is exactly what rc comp buggies need. I can't watch a normal comp video on youtube anymore without falling asleep due to the fact they are so slow and boring. Madram11 has spoiled me and now that this comp is taking place i just want to wish everyone participating the best of luck and lets continue to move towards these and put on these particular types of competitions. The event excitesthe hell outta me and gets me motivated to build my crawler into the rock bouncer is supposed to be. I only wish I could get to TN from Ky and have mine built in time.

LET EM EAT BOYS. Oh and make sure to take lots of videos and pics.

Im right there with you on it. Its basically the same as the 1:1 world. Pirate is basically "rock crawling". slow techincal stuff. Hardlinecrawlers.com is where all the Rock bouncers hang out. I've rode with the biggest names in the sport and have watched and gathered ideas for this event. I wish you could make it man You seem like you'd be a blast to hang out with. There will be some video. Alot of video and alot of pictures taken. I got my tires ON DIG AND I'M READY TO LET IT EAT SON!!!

I want to get in on this. Little concerned though, only got a 2500 3c lipo and my gearing is just barely faster than walking speed. What is a competitive speed/gearing?

Btw it's a 2.2 ax10.

I would say you probably won't be up front, but you will still have fun. It sounds like there will be some fairly quick trucks and a few ballistic ones there.

I'd say you'd be pretty well competitive in the race. The rig with the aetna cut tsl's pictured above only runs a 3s lipo on a tekin 35t. Its just faster than walking speed. I run a 13/87 on 3s with a 13.5t. i'd say a 20t pinion is just about right. I wouldn't worry about not being competitive because the course will be built for all types of rigs to have pro's and con's.

im hoping to be there but i was worried about my no slop lockers getting here on time but the german guy got them here quick and now im waiting on my beval gears that are out of stock so if i get them in ill be there.
