Default Gatlinburg Crawling Areas?

Hey guys,

I was wondering if any of you have ever found any good spots to crawl in Gatlinburg, TN, by chance? We'll be up there this weekend and would like to do some crawling, if possible.

Try heading up 441 like you are going to NC. Bout 5 miles or so in there is a spot on the left side of the road you can park at. The bank isn't step on that side of the road and it's a great spot for scalers with some bigger boulders for comp rigs also. Try it out and see what ya think!

Also theres a good place when you cross the bridge at the grande hotel. pull in the gravel-ish parking lot on the left and walk the trail to the river.

Elkmont campground (actually in Townsend)has some really fun spots when the water is low. We camp there a lot, my son and I could spend all day there no prob.

Try Greenbriar. I was up there yesterday and there are tons of places. I live fairly close to it so I'm up there all the time.

Next time you're up hit up Greenbriar and under the Jake Thomas bridge in PF. I would think Mynatt park in downtown gatlinburg would be good too.

Those spots he found were the ones I was talking about earlier. Some excellent possibilities as yet unexplored...
