Default Losi upgrades

Just bought a losi night crawler. It is amazing but is there any upgrades I should do to make it better and possibly last longer. It will climb a wall and is great for what I want. I've saw some have aluminum part, motors, servos, four wheel steer and other things. Please tell me. And post a pic of your crawler

Just run it stock for a while, then you will know what you want to change. And keep those worm gears greased.

....and browse through the Losi Comp Crawler section on here. It will blow your mind (and your wallet) what people are doing!

PFC is right, run it stock for a while, and get with the ETRC guys. They have forgotten more about crawling than I will ever know. Be careful, you will get hooked with both feet! Ask me how I know.

I love my Losi, in my opinion the best sportsman rig out there.

not to hi jack.. but when you say sportsman whata you mean? Asking because i love what the LCC is capable of but im Im not a comp guy, i prefer just crawling for hours on end. I am fighting battery life due to the small packs it fits. I want to get a larger battery tray for the thing so it actually lasts more than 20 minutes. My friend and I built a few lines in a creek nearby and my LCC dies about half way up it because there are so many lines and bonus lines to do haha. cooler operating temps= longer run times as well right?

A sportsman (or on a national level a 2.2s) rig is a shaft driven rig with no dig. An Axial AX-10, or a Losi Night Crawler fit the bill for this class. It's still a comp class, but without having to compete with pro rigs.
