Default East Tennessee Crawlers

East Tennessee Vote on your club name! Poll closes on August 31st after that we will collectivley choose the name.

We will also discuss this on sunday the 27th. The poll is not going to be the "FINAL" say it's just to get the ball rolling on this! So we can start getting our STUFF together!

Also we need to elect someone to represent our group in the USRCCA This person will be responsible for representing our word in votes on rules and other rule based issues involved with rcrc. This person will also be a contact person for the USRCCA.

I have one question about us becoming an official club. Are we going to follow all USRCCA rules concerning truck specifications and competition scoring? I believe my body does not meet the 70% rule, but I cannot afford a new body at the moment. Can I still compete?

Cubman, I think that in the begining stages of clubness ( if that is a word ) I would not have a problem with you running that body. When we start hosting competitions and meeting up with other clubs I think that we should use the USRCCA rules. It makes for less confusion and everyone is familiar with the rules.

Cubman I think your body will fall under the 70% rule. From what I have seen
most are cut alot more than your's.

spppppppppppppfffffttt:
I almost spit my M.D. out when I read that!

I plan on hitting it tonight or tomorrow to find out what I have left. The spur you gave me won't work but I might be able to "jerry" rig the metal slipper to work.

Sven, I just received a pair of 2.2 moabs. I was wondering how you have yours setup? Do you use foams in the tires? or do you cut your foams?

Foams were first cut in half and then cut in the above pattern. No real reason why, I just liked it better than some of the other star patterns I've seen in the foam thread.

I can't remember how much I cut out of the rims, but I followed the How To on narrowing rims that is on the RCC home page.
