We are incorporating Membership Dues, for Comp participating members; to facilitate prizes, food, raffles, supplies, etc. ...

The dues will be
$60.00 per year. (Jan 1 - Dec. 31)

$40.00 per additional family member
$20.00 per additional family member under 16

This will get you into all comps (both series ), & eligible for all prizes/raffles

If you want to be in the pts. series, & be eligible for prizes/raffles/etc. you need to be a paying member of E.T.R.C..

Non-members &/or visitors are welcome; & can enter "A" Comp for a fee of
$10.00

Non-members will not be eligible for score tracking, to be eligible for the Nat's competition

Also,
NON members that would like a shirt or Hoodie*;

They are
$20.00
&
$30.00

**DISCLAIMER**
NOONE in E.T.R.C. is a Vendor.
Therefore; We will NOT be selling these items on RCC!!!!!
If you are not a member of E.T.R.C. you can ONLY order &/or purchase items while at our comps!
Sorry for the inconvienence but those are the rules!

I will have a Pay-Pal address up SooN.

When y'all send pym't for the dues; Include how many of which product & what colors & sizes that you would like at that time.

Remember:
You receive a free t-shirt for becoming a member.
So everybody needs to incl. this information w/ pym't..!
Thanks for your help w/ this!

Also,
If you can do the math & incl. it w/ your dues:

1 FREE shirt
+
$5.00 each extra
+
$15.00 each Hoodie

That would help me a bunch too...

I think all prizes should be general in purpose.

My idea is to support the Vendors of this site to my fullest!!!
I'm talking about, gift certificates & prizes from:

Holmes Hobbies,
Dbl. J Products,
Rockwerks,
Run2Jeepin,
SlinkySam,
R.C.P.,
The Crawler Store,
Custom Paint jobs from B&C customs,
1yr. RCC Memberships
ETC...

ANY VENDORS THAT READ THIS, AND WOULD LIKE TO Help w/ donations or discounts; Please contact me.

I will be contacting them to get these prizes as soon as I figure up our budget.

So...

Any $$$'s received after the second comp; Will pretty much go towards food, & the "Finals" for both series..!!!!!

Prizes will be raffled off, at ALL Comps.

ALL E.T.R.C. Drivers, will receive 1 ticket for each class driven in.
E.T.R.C. Members that attend but do not drive, will also receive 1 ticket (just another perk!)
(I'll inform everyone how much value will be raffled per comp, when I get the budget made)

The only prizes you win for placing, is "overall" at BOTH Finals.
& that will be the Top 2 in each class.

For starters...
I will have 2 powder coated V.S. chassis' to be raffled off at the first comp!

The V,S, is an all around chassis.
It will fit any Tranny/axle combo,
&
It can compete, in any Class.
This raffle alone will pay for 2 members Dues... (as long as the same person doesn't win both... )

After the score-sheets run out;
We will pay (out of the fund) Torched (or whoever does it for us) a fair price for printing more.

Supplies aren't free.

As discussed at Concord Park... Last year...

ANY member that makes it into (not "buy in") the Nat's,
& goes,
will receive a FREE custom painted E.T.R.C. body to take w/ them!

Earlier,
I asked a serious Q. about raising the dues for us that will be running in both classes.

Will those people, please help me w/ making the decision.

I don't see a "NEED" for it but it would give more/better prizes, & make it fair for the extra chance.

For instance:

Someone w/ 2 raffle tickets, may actually win both V.S. chassis' in Feb. ...
Not likely but possible!

Isn't that chance (at every* comp) worth it?

*DISCLAIMER*
I don't have the budget yet, so I can't say that EVERY raffle will be this Valuable.
It depends on how many "members" we get!
&
Also, how many donations & Deals we receive

Another plan of mine:

The Trailbeater from Dbl. J. may be what the 2.2 Summer series Champion or RUNNER UP will receive.?.?.? We'll see what the Nitty Gritty is later.
If the budget allows it; This will be for the runner up...

I think the dues should remain at $60 and just give 1 ticket per person, rather than per class.

$60 is already quite a bit of money, I really don't care about having the 'chance' of winning prizes. The same reason I don't play the lottery, it's only by chance. If the only reason for raising the dues is to get more prizes, I don't support it. If there is another reason, I'd love to hear it.

Do tennis balls, pens, paper, and clipboards really cost $55? $60-$5 for shirt.

I can bring my own food, that's also something I don't really see a need for.

Before I send my money, I'd like to see what it will be spent on...besides prizes.

I probably should have said this earlier, but I guess it's better late than never.
I hope no one takes offense by this, I am all for supporting ETRC. I just don't like to spend money without knowing what it's for.

That's another way of doing it.
I just didn't think it was fair to those who receive 1 ticket, for others to receive an extra ticket for free...

Food would be an occasional thing anyway... Nothing big (Krispy Creme, Raptorman's Mom's cooking, etc.).

I don't care for dues personally! I would like it to be Free!!!!!!!

But most of the club wants prizes & we don't have sponsors like SERCRC. So we have to charge dues to make that possible...
I am just volunteering to be the one responsible for it...

This is my reasoning for the HIGH fee:
E.T.R.C. crawlers

Purely an example:
10 members x $60.00 = $600.00
10 shirts x $5.00 = $50.00
$550.00 divided by 12 comps = 45.00 per comp for prizes but then you have to include the Finals prizes...
(This doesn't even incl., reprinting score sheets... )

To everyone:

If this is too much for everybody, we could all just give Torched & phish $5.00 each
&
Be done w/ this whole thing.

It don't matter to me.?.

No problem Sven!

& everybody is welcome. I really am not hurting myself by keeping track of this.

I'm thinking we'll probably end up with +/- 20 members this year.?.?

Hey y'all,

I was unable to open an account because I didn't have enough funds to open one.
My Wife get's paid on the 26th. That is when I'll pay my dues!
If anyone would like to go ahead & pay up tomorrow; That would be o.k., & welcome...
I need to get some funds A.S.A.P. so that I can get the V.S.'s ordered & get the ball rolling for shirts & so-on...

Cubman:
P.M. me your ideas on THIS situation, & I'll do whatever is neccesary... For YOU.

I'll open a checking account for
E.T.R.C., in care of: Ray *****.
That will give me a debit card & an acount #.
Then everything can be pay-pal'd to that account.
  • I will not put any $$$ into my personal acct.. Period!
  • I will only put $$$ into the E.T.R.C. acct.!
  • At the end of the year; I will give every Member, an acct. history sheet showing where EVERY penny went.
  • If I get a deal; That will be reflected in this paperwork.
  • I will not profit from this, at all!
  • I want to have pics taken of every prize given away.!
Then put them in the pics/results thread, w/ the name of who won each prize next to 'em.
  • I want this to be a Good thing. Not a questionable thing.
Next year when we vote on who is what;
This acct. can easily be changed from my name to whomever's. (I think?)

If ANY PERSON has a Q.
Just ask.
