I'm looking at getting a trx4 I'm undecided on the kit or just get the rtr. Any suggestions. Also looking for shock upgrades on my redcat Everest 10. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk |

Build the kit. Then you know how it all works. TRX-4 shocks are excellent.

Having built and tuned a kit myself, I'd say get an RTR. If you've ever built a kit before, there isn't anything special about the build process of the X4 IMO. The stock electronics are fine to get you started so why spend extra for aftermarket items that you may not need. Once you get it on the rocks/dirt, you'll be glad that you didn't waste time building it!
