Default New to Area of DFW... looking for hobby shop

Hello all, I am new to this area, I am working out of Decatur and would like to find a good hobby shop near by, somewhere in DFW. I am looking for AX10 and other crawler parts. Would anyone recommend a good shop for me to go visit in the area?

thank you
Raf

Ya, Mikes is huge. They got an indoor carpet track and dirt track right next to each other.

The part store is really big too, just not much crawler items. But you can get tons of traxxas parts

While in town I went to Mikes, T&T, Hobbytown in Rockwall, the Hobbytown on Walnut, and A-1 on Gross Rd.

A-1 is WAYYY overpriced and didnt have anything. Mikes and the Hobbytown on Walnut were by far the best bets.

Welcome to Eighter from Decatur, County seat of Wise! I grew up here in Decatur, been living in Bridgeport for the last 11+ years. Next weekend wont' work but maybe we can get together and go crawl soon.

I like Mike's, but it's really far for me. It's fun just to look at the planes on the ceiling...They have new ones every time I go.

Roy's is my favorite, partly because the Mythbusters wore a "Roy's Toys for Big Boys" shirt one time. But mostly because of the amount of Traxxas parts.

To be honest, though, neither really has an employee who's really really into the cars with a good attitude. This one guy at Mike's is cool, though.

As for crawler parts, I've heard a lot about BMI Hobbies, as already stated
