It was great fun, there were 11 of us crawling. You missed a classic Sunday. We had a couple wifes and a few youngsters all having an awsome time. Me Ray Bear Sam Jorge Mike Andrew Carl Stan Jim Tom Ok, ok it was just Ray, Bear, and me with Sam (TraxFD) watching....but it was still fun! |

You guys are really putting it together out there in El Paso. If you all haven't had the chance yet, look into TXRCRCA.org. With enough interest it's possible to get your own West TX Chapter together and be eligible for State Finals next year and maybe even Nationals Invites! Just an FYI! |

That is our future plan. We have so many great places to crawl here in El Paso. As it stands now, we get together every Sunday and will be holding local comps soon (aka, when my Berg is done.....). I did register at your site and poked around some. It would be nice to start a west coast chapter. It kinda sucks that we are so far away from anything here but the area makes up for it. Is there info on the site about how we could start up a chapter? Thank you for posting and I will bring it up on Sunday when we get together. Cob (Brian) |

Posted by Nova's Ark from the TXRCRCA site; Best of luck to you! I knew it was only a matter of time before West Texas started representing. In the past, the powers that be wanted to make sure you had enough people to support a chapter. You need to get as many guys from your area to join TXRCRCA. If you can justify a new chapter with people to fill it, you will get it. You will also need multiple comp locations to hold competitions throughout the year. If you are not concerned with competitions, the State title, or national competition, you could just start your own local club as well. TXRCRCA is recognized by the USRCCA so the top two winners of each class (current classes are 2.2 and super) get invited to the Nationals in Moab, Utah to represent Texas and TXRCRCA. That is an invite only event to compete in. Brian | |
