We're not that far east, but there is quite a big group in the Houston area. We meet often and have monthly comps.

Thanks for the shout out. I will definitly try to make it out one day. Noticed a comp coming up. to bad its on our Cub scout camp out though. We have a guy that owns a 4x4 shop that just built a rc race course. I will have to see if he 's going to build a crawler course. But I will look you guys up if my son and I can get over that way.

Sounds good! Yeah, we've got a comp coming up on the 19th. Most of our comps are at the end of the month. I believe that we will be having one each month for a good portion of the year.

You guys see on southeastexas.com in the hobby section a new rc shop is opening up. They don't have room for a track. They ar elooking for local people to promot ther on track. There is a guy in Port Aurthur building a crawler track I think.

Any way check it out.

Just let everyone know a new track is open north of Beaumont in Lumberton.
Also went to the new hobbyshop in town and talked to the owner. She is pretty cool and is slowly getting more stuff. She is also looking at doing some crawling stuff and getting another track up and running. Not promoting here just trying to keep local guys put to date. We have not had a good shop in 10+ yrs

No group to comp with as of yet. Its been a while since I have been on this forum. Just rebuilt my rig ( its a king). You can see pics in the wheely king section. If there are some local guys that want to find a place let me know. I can crash my rig with the best of them.

Am in BMT, My son got a Axial for Christmas, and it was so much fun I had to get me a crawler. Just got a sw3 axial tranny, vf dig, tlt axle's and so on. Really fun Got some rocks and there in my garage I might leave them in there and set up a corse though the garage untill spring. Maybe we can have a local garage meet.
