| TXRCRCA - Texas State Finals
If you are in the Texas area, please stay tuned to the Texas Radio Control Rock Crawler Association for information on the upcoming state finals: http://www.txrcrca.com The event will take place June 20th and is scheduled to be held in Llano, TX. TXRCRCA currently has 3 clubs using the forum for events, tech, chit chat, classifieds, the arcade and to discuss the state finals crawl off. The Crawl Off determines who TX sends to the USRCCA nationals. It's a great event to attend even if you have no intention of going to Nationals in Moab. We are also happy to offer FREE web space and guidance to any new clubs in TX while they seek USRCCA recognition. So if you are in the state of TX, and into RC Crawling, be sure to check it out! Thanks, Patrick TXRCRCA Admin |

There is a winners division for our top regular season finishers (from the 3 TX clubs) and they compete for the spots to nats. We will have prizes for the winners of each division as well as giveaway drawings for all the competitors. Sorry if there was any confusion there. | |

We will run Super, 2.2 and 1.9. It may turn out to be a 2 day event as well. I will have some pre registration info up at the end of this week... hopefully. |

| When will you know if it's a two day event. Will you be running all 3 classes on both days. Or 2.2s on 1st day and supers and 1.9s on the 2nd day.

Correct, there is nothing on the site yet as we are still discussing location and dates. I put these posts here to gauge external interest. Now that I know there is some interest I'll make sure yall get all the info you could ever need, as soon as I get it. The date and/or the location could change but we hope to have all of that ironed out before next weekend. Last year we ran the winners division first, then the open division. That was on the same courses but not at the same time. We wanted everyone to be able to watch the winners division. We have not settled on a format for this year though the open class will be free crawl. I'm not positive if the winners will run at the same time or separately. Right, the winners division are the guys that are eligible to go to Nationals having competed in the required 6 season events within one of the TX clubs. Their season totals were good enough to be eligible under our rules. So, even if the winners and open divisions run at the same time and an open division guy beats all the winners, he won't be going to Moab ... though he'll have some serious bragging rights We will be running all three classes, 1.9, 2,2 and Super. Not sure on the exact schedule though. If we did split it up it would likely be 2.2 one day and Super/1.9 the other day. Last edited by Locked Up; 04-29-2009 at 10:04 PM. |
