Default "Rumble in the Creek Bed" Scale GTG Houston (Tomball area) June 25th

RCGearheads is hosting the "Rumble in the Creek Bed" Scale Get Together (fun run and competitive, all classes, no MOA) on June 25th at Spring Creek Park in Tomball. Parking will be at the Creek Area Parking Spot as shown on the map linked below.

Setup will begin between 8:30-9 am with events starting around 9:30. Bring what you got and run what you got. Feel free to bring out not scale RC's as are plenty of good areas to run them and bash.

This open to anyone and is a family friendly event so feel free to bring your kids. The park has restrooms, RV hookups, tent campsites, picnic tables, grills, and several nice playgrounds including a covered basketball area. Parking areas and the event areas are mostly shaded!!!

It will be hot so bring plenty of water!

We will have a little bit of everything from rocks to sand to mud to dirt to you name it. See map and pics below.

You can also check out the Rc Gearheads Website for Info, see the Texas RC Offroad section:

cool! I will try to make it up there. We just moved here yesterday and if our movers get our goodies in place in time, I should be able to make it up there. When will things happen, or is it completely loose? I may only have a couple hours, so that's why I ask. Maybe morning time?

I tried to register to your other site, but the verification image wouldn't show.... could you help me get registered there? thanks

cheers
Jesse

Oh and does the rope swing work?

I plan to be out there morning till whenever. If people are hanging and having fun, I'll stay. Alex, pull my number off rcgearheads and give me a shout if you need to that day.

It should be pretty laid back, mainly checking things out and what not.

I know we have Lance, Shelby, and Myself. I think Garrett and Daniel are coming and maybe others that haven't spoke up yet.

No worries about the rain either, even if the creek is full (doubtful as dry as everything has been) there are plenty of places to run.

If this rain holds up a bit...should be some nice mud around too!

I went by this morning after dropping off the kids to check it all out. Creek is still mostly dry with some scattered muddy and wet spots. Everything is looking good for the outing!
