Any news on the scaler front 1.9 and 2.2 or TTC in both classes? I sold all my hardbodies except the re-released Tamiya Midnight Pumpkin Low Rider with the old 56 Ford RWD like a true gasser probably just gonna putt that around with my Kyosho Nostalgia Series Shelby 427 S/C on a RWD setup as well sitting on an old school Mantis chassis LOL. Plans for the any scale rig competitions?

I am almost tempted to sell off my last two loaded Axial based scalers...lol. I wish there was just natural mountainous terrain here....most I do is bash modded up Bajas and tweak with scale items on my scalers lol. I've owned my 1.9 BGR caged Wraith KOH Bronco for about 2 years MMP/Tekin 3500HD driven it less than half a foot testing electronics lol! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Which one I've had a couple both sold unfortuanately!! My latest mini Tamiya I'm working on is the new RWD Midnight Pumpkin lowrider M02 chassis just typical silver can on 2s. Still working on the body filling up the body posts that were predrilled in the ABS plastic and working on puttying up the tailgate and other body panels....the goal is to transform it into a true low rider 55 Ford shop truck from the Expendables. 1955 Ford F100 - 20 Inch Rims - Truckin' Magazine Taking my time on it she runs and all wired up just working on body, paint, interior, and maybe LED lighting. |

I was just checking to see what the local group has going on? Comp, Scale, GTG's... I have been involved with the ETXRCC crew for a while, but will be moving to the Houston area soon and would like to get involved with the local group! |

| Re: Gulf Coast RC Rock Crawlers (GCRCRC) Hey hows it going! What part of houston you moving to? The comp scene is slow down here. With Jeremy and myself being busy, haven't had much time to be dedicated to this hobby. There are several guys locally that have scale rigs and I'm sure would love to get some events going. Whenever you get settled in, feel free to hold whatever events you want... |

I've been doing great! Looks like I will be somewhere around the Spring or Humble area... I currently have my last 2.2 pro rig listed in the classifieds, the comp scene in East Texas is dead. How have you been? We will have to start getting the everyone together once I get settled in, thinking that will be in May. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm actually in the process of building another scx10 based TTC rig after selling big red Lucifer. I'm currently also doing a complete tear down and refresh of my 2.2 chrome Wraith - rebuild shocks, change out all bearings to Team Fast Eddy, rebuild and repair my cracked up interior, rebuild my Holmes 35T TorqueMaster and re-epoxy my BRXL plus the CC BEC . Weather is getting nicer now hope we can do some GTGs. I am also currently building a New Bright JK hardbody scx10 based mud bogger/trail rig powered by Holmes TrailMaster sensored brushless 3300kv. Just building this rig from spare parts... Gave up on the BGR 1.9 scx10 axled MMP/Tekin Pro4 HD 3500kv KOH rig...it was occupying way too much time and money. |

How far is ETXRCC usually doing their courses? I used to go to hang with the CTX guys now and then when my gf was living in Austin. They're hard into scale which is what I enjoy as well!

So I was working in Deer Park and stumbled onto this! The city of Deer Park and the Parks department have built a rock crawler area in their City park... The lady working on the construction mentioned "John" donated most of the rocks and helped with the layout??? Speak up if you know anything about this! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Not sure who John is but Ken is the guy who has done all the leg work making it possible. He has also donated rocks along with myself. The city is also supplying rocks and other structures. Here is a link to a thread that was started about it. Deer Park,TX rock course |

Every screw, bearing, every part cleaned, tightened up, minor adjustments in suspension, rebuilt shocks, rebuilt motor, refreshed EVERYTHING!! Can we just show up and run or are there people we need to talk to before hand or pay? Thanks Alex Shoot might just go tomorrow haha! |
