| Houston, surrounding area crawlers, meet here!!!
My son and I are looking for other crawlers in Houston and surrounding areas that would like to organize some get togethers and perhaps start an organization. We are in south Houston, not too far from I-45 and beltway 8 for anyone whom may be close. If so we have found a very difficult crawl spot very close to here that would be a good place to start. Thanks |

Did you guys ever find any good spots in the area? I just moved here a few months ago and (when the rain permits), I'd like to go crawling. I know that there are some damn good MTB trails in Memorial Park, but am not sure if I want to interfere with the bikers.... Jeremy |

Just so you guys know, there is already a recognized club in Texas with some members in Houston. See this site TXRCRCA There is a Scale GTG scheduled for this weekend in Georgetown, that I will post details about later this evening. More information about it is in the Austin GTG's section in the club forum. We also have monthly GTG's or comps throughout Central Texas. |

My son (7) and I are new to the sport. We live in Spring and would love to get together. I recently purchased the AX-10 and am waiting for my speed controller to complete it. We are excited about the sport and looking forward to meeting people with the same interest. |

Well, I went out to the bike trails at Memorial Park and was eaten alive by mosquitos. I think it will have to wait until the trails dry out a bit and some of the bugs are gone!

W.E.ROCK, the World Extreme Rock Crawling Series; will hold their Grand National Rock Crawling Championships in Spring, Texas on September 14-16. An employee at my LHS suggested taking our RC Crawlers to the event. I am pretty sure there will be some good crawling areas out there. It is at the Spring Creek Offroad park. Go to www.springcreekoffroad.com for more information. Watching the 1:1 crawlers, some mud bogging, and doing some RC Crawling sounds like fun to me!
