Default north texas clubs???????

Did some looking on here and was wonderng if there was any club or anything doing class one or any comps within 50or so miles of mesquite. I have two trucks that are right near c9mpletetion and would like to attend my first comp. I know there was one ckub that used to always run out at grapvine.

Any info would be greatly appreciated

We're still here, we post all of our events over here on NTXRCC 2013/2014 Official Comp Schedule our next comp is Feb 22nd at a new location at Lake Grapevine, we'll post a map for directions on the other site.

We run both 2.2 pro and 2.2 sportsman class and 1.9 if enough people show up with them.

If you want to wheel local spots (no comps), look up DFW crawlers on the TXRCRCA Forum forum.

The DFW guys mostly run 1.9/2.2 scale and wraiths. There is an event planned for April 27th, definitely should try to make this one:
ETXRCC G6 on April 27th @ Murrell Park in DFW area

Going to be moving back to Texas after 5 years or so freezing my arse off in Michigan. Going back to the little town of Spur, about 70 miles east of Lubbock. Any scale crawling going on around there? Would like to meet up with a group later on this summer. Running a 2.2 Wraith.

We are in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, not sure what is happening in the West Texas area. If you are in the DFW area, check out txrcrca.com in the DFW Crawler section. Welcome back to Tejas!

Rather than creating another thread, I thought I'd join the conversation here.

Don't have a rig, yet, but looking to get one in the near future. At that point, I'll be looking to join in on the fun.

Just glad to know there's a handful of people in the DFW area involved in this segment of the hobby.

Come out with us next weekend at Murrell Park for a G2G. We will be running our comp rigs and running a scale Trail class course.
Time and spot at the park to come so stay tuned.

I had my hands on an AX10 Scorpion, got rid of it a while back, and am hoping to have an AX10 Ridgecrest at some point in the next week or so.

Don't know if I'll be crawling, but I might try to make it out to one of the events just to meet people and see how everything works.

Is there a fee to come and trail / crawl with your group? I have relatives in the area we visit about once a month. What are the rules I've never been out with a group or club. I have a scx10 deadbolt with 2.2s nothing fancy

The DFW Crawlers on Txrcrca.com usually just get together and run, usually no competition involved. No fee or rules, just come out for fun. The East Texas guys usually have scale comps about once a month or so, no fees either way. They usually do 1.9 and 2.2 classes, pretty informal and lots of fun.

How do you sign up for the February comp at Lake Grapevine. I am having a very hard time finding Comps and then harder time trying to find out how to sign up for them. I am a new be and it would be my first comp but I want to try and get involved in competitions or something similar. Thanks in advance for information.
