| Houston people?
Hey all, I am a Colorado native here, but I may be spending some time around Houston here in the next few months to a year, off and on for work. What all you guys have down there for crawling? Hoping to have some free time to do some RC while I am down there, will need a good hobby shop and someone to kinda show me around some events you might be having while I am down. Anyone around there willing to hook a brother up and show me the ropes out there? As best as I know I will be staying near downtown Houston but will have a vehicle while down there if that helps. Not that this is much help, but I'm in the area. I'm new to crawling and trying to figure out some spots to crawl other that rocks on Galveston Island

Hey no worries. lol At least you are talking to me. If nothing else you can show me somewhere to crawl and I can help ya with a tuneup on the rig or some other tech type tips. |

If you're bringing a scaler, Memorial Park (west of downtown at the I10 610 interchange) has some good mountain bike trails that are fun. We have several comp areas around the metro area as well....

Found out a little more about the trip, looks like I will be staying somewhere just south east of downtown. So, my wonderful Houston brothers and sisters, give me the skinny on whatever you can please. Any places to avoid down there? Any places that you say I must absolutely check out if I have the free time? Thanks in advance, Ozzy |

Galveston is a good spot and if you want to crawl and enjoy the gulf it can all happen at same time. When you coming down?? |
