Crawl Spot & UNT - Denton
 

So I was driving around campus on a Gator this morning and found this spot behind the library that looks like it would be a pretty decent spot. Geared more toward comp crawlers it seems, but there are places, too, where scalers, etc. could do well, too. Think I'm going to bring my Yeti out later this week to check it out, as my Wroncho isn't anywhere near built at this point.

Pictures don't do this spot justice. A little further down, it almost turns into a wall face.

I did a stint at that school and I dont remember that at all. It was right about the time I was getting interested in crawlers...but I dont remember that.

That campus sure has changed since I left...I cant believe they tore down big chunk of Fry street and rebuilt it with lame stuff like Chipotle.

Yeah....it's changing as we speak. I graduated in 2012 (started really late) and now work for the university, so I'm here every day. New residence hall built, another renovated, Stovall being torn down (next to library), parking garage next to Wooten Hall, new University Union being built (open in November)....lots going on here lately. This particular spot takes about 5 minutes to get to by Gator/golf cart. Shorter if I take my truck.

If your in Weatherford TX hit up soldiers Springs Park. Loads of trail run places and some good spots to jump yeti etc lot of trees so not to hot.

I don't get to Weatherford too often, as it's about an hour and a hald away from me. Got a few Jeep buddies that live out there, though, so I may cruise out there one day.

Taking the Yeti over to my newly discovered spot here at UNT on lunch today. Should be fun!

I'm there pretty much every day since I work on campus. Just don't have a rig that's up for it at the moment, as they're all down waiting for parts. Should have my Dlux U4 truss some time next week.

Was over there literally 10 minutes ago. Not with any of my rigs of course since I'm at work, but had business over there. Just across from the rocks is a decent sized grassy field, too, if you get the itch to do a speed run.

Honestly, I'm not sure they enforce parking on the weekends other than maybe the resident lots.
