Scale/Crawl meetup in Austin, TX area

Hi all. Newbie here in Austin. If there are any scale/crawl meetups in this area, please let me know.

Have an scx10 honcho build that I would love to put to use. backyard crawling has become boring.

I'm down to crawl the 360 Bridge Overlook. I tried doing by yesterday but after 8 hard years my steering knuckle finally gave out. Parts should be here tomorrow. The trail up to the overlook is my personal favorite in the Austin area so far.

It would be nice to have a group. I searched through but i dont see any such crawl groups in austin. San antonio has weekly meet.

This upcoming weekend I will be gone in AZ for scale Nationals.

2 toddlers at home and a full time job. So weekends are the only time i can get out once in a while. Lets try next weekend.

Hopefully my new rx comes by then. I've got some other new trinkets to put on by then too. I work Saturday, I won't know if I work the second job on Sunday until Wednesday/Thursday.

Im an old hand at RC, converting to Crawling! Just finished an SCX10 build, nearly done with a RCFWD Glenade II, starting Trailfinder 2 and have a GMADE Sawback in the closet as well. Would love to know where some good places in the Austin area are to practice.

Would like to know of any good spots/meetups in Austin area as well! Just got a TRX-4 coming today! New to crawling and been 25 yrs since my last RC build.

There are plenty of spots along the Walnut Creek trails - as you probably know they are in the process of connecting various parks and trails along Walnut Creek with a 10' wide concrete hike & bike path, making lots of areas easily accessible. I have yet to run into anyone else but I have run mine around the Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park itself, and plan on going up the road a bit to Balcones District Park next. If you look at my Vaterra Ascender thread all the pics so far have been from around or inside Walnut Metro Park.
