LOL, I lived there for 15 years but just moved to SE Texas. There are tons and tons of wheeling places there, RC and 1:1, look up Matt at West Texas Offroad, he does both.

Cool. where are the closest RC shops around there? I was into 1:1 lifts and stuff, had a 2001 Dodge Ram lifted 6", but I needed to get away for that money pit.

I don't know about RC shops around there. I was only into 1:1 crawling while I lived there out at the lake. Check with Matt, he may be able to direct you to some nearby.

I'm from right south of there but only around a few times a year now that I'm in college. Check with Matt Hodges at West Texas Off-Road. He is a great guy and does a lot of 1:1 work and has a rc or two of his own. His shop is right south of town off of 277.
Lots of crawling spots out at Twin Buttes also for you to check out. Can't ever remember seeing a hobby shop in san angelo to tell you the truth.
