I was just wondering if anyone has tried both tires and like how they perform. I know the rock claws are the latest and greatest, but I also like the size of the moabs. They will be going on an AX10. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I've ran both tires. I personally like the Losi claws better, but the Moabs are still a great tire. Also, the type of rocks and terrain can play into the tire choice. The Moabs seem to work better if the crawling surface is damp IMO. Losi Claws with memory foams are a great set-up for comps and thats what most users seem to be using. This is just my opinion.

Have both. Prefer the Claw. Both tires do work great though. M3 compound sure is sticky

Ran both like M3 Moabs. The tread bites harder than the rock claws and the rock crawls burn up faster especially if you run a Dig setup.

x2 Sounds about right for me also. The claws and memory foams are my set up also. Here in CO, the claws work the best and I would have to say the M3 Mashers are a very close second. I love the M3 compound. | |
