Default Badlands vs Claws

Do you think the 2.2 badlands will give the Losi Claws a run for their money?

I bet a few people have them, what do you think?

I think they look very promising. I need to test them though.

I want and will probably get em. They probably wont see any rocks for a while though. I have only "tested" my claws on concrete, not really any natural stuff. I am hoping to go down to an Ohio comp sometime soon though, hopefully I will have both to "compare".

I've seen the Claws work and they do GREAT on dry sandy surfaces. They seem to do good on other surfaces as well if they can stay clean. The last few times we've run our trucks,my modded OG Lizards out performed my sons claws. Simple enough, they'd ball up full of mud/dirt and would not lose it.

My 40 series Badland XL's seem to do fairly well in cleaning out. If I axed a few tread blocks in the middle, they'd probably do better. I would assume the smaller badlands would fair close to the same. I'm anxious to try a set.

We NEED tires that'll clean out when run in moist dirt/mossy conditions. Everywhere we crawl, theres dirt and mud in and around the rocks. Put mud on slick limestone with a bit of moss in between and you've got pleanty of slick'em.

i think the bad lands have a very good chance at having more side bite for off camber and side hilling based on tread pattern alone.

I don't know if they will be better but I definitely want to try them. I think them look like a great basher tire at the least.

From the look of them they might have more steering and lateral traction. I'm excited to test some.

Its true the Claws do seem to have some clean out problems. And with the dirt they dont perform well... but when they are clean, they re the best tire IMO.

From the looks and the M2 compound, they look like they'll be Claw competition.

I want to try a set and I am wondering if I can do a hybrid set with some mashers on the inside.

I've been running Badlands for over a year, w/ the M2 compound, I'm sure they'll be even better.
