Default proline 1.9 tires. will they ever? Dirk, any ideas?

This thought just popped into my head. Why hasn't proline made a 1.9 tire??? they have the compounds, they have the resources, they have the market, so why not? i would love to see an M2 or M3 tire for the scalers. Has anyone else wondered? Maybe Dirk can give us some enlightenment/hints ;)

I don't think the market is quite big enough just yet for them to justify it yet.

well rc4wd already has 4 awesome 1.9s and then there are the trail docs and i see alot of people reducing 2.2s and there are a few vendors selling reduced 2.2s. i say that releasing one right now would be a great move with the high-lift and hilux having come out recently and the pajero on its way. and i'd say if scalers are popular enough (i'd think you'd know) for rcwd to produce 4 different 1.9s and for people to be cutting into their 2.2 tires, i'd say proline if anything is falling behind. just my opinion i guess. proline really isn't the best at reading the market and predicting what is going to happen to release stuff before other people do. they usually don't do anything until they notice us buying all this cool stuff from other companies.

Keep in mind - Proline's products that are geared towards crawlers often find thier way onto nitro trucks and backyard bashers, too. That is how Proline can get away with making items like the Moabs, beadlock rims, and crawler style bodies - there is more than one market for those items.

But when you are talking 1.9 wheels and tires, there isn't much carry-over into other "genres" of RC. The only people (with perhaps a few exceptions) that are going to be buying such items will be the scale crowd. You won't see anyone buying up some 1.9's to put on thier T-maxx or Rustler.

But who knows, they could already have something in the works. I know I'd like to see it happen
